RATES
- Lessons are £30 per hour / £15 per half hour.
- We can negotiate the length of your lesson according to your needs.
FLUTE
Flute is offered for all levels and age.
However, you need to be of a certain size to play the flute! Generally the minimum age for playing the flute will be 7 or 8. I would be happy to start young children on the recorder until they are big enough to play the flute. Many skills on the recorder are transferable to the flute.
I regularly put my students through exams. I will be happy to guide you through your exam by any board!

Understanding of music theory is crucial no matter what instrument you play. It will help make learning music easier and more meaningful. Things will start to click, and it may even be fun!
Also, if you plan on going beyond Grade 5 in the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music on any instrument, you are required to take the Grade 5 theory exam. It is best to get started as early as possible.

PIANO
The piano is perhaps one of the most social instruments to be able to play. With piano you can accompany yourself or anyone else and just about play in any style. The piano is also very useful for musicians playing any other instrument for understanding theory and harmony.
